Former L'Olivier chef de cuisine Kevin Bryant revealed today to the Chronicle's Greg Morago that he's opening a seafood restaurant called 11:11 in the former Bibas space on West Gray. Bryant tells Morago that the name represents a lucky number for him. The restaurant will serve Gulf coast cuisine in a variety of preparations, including an oyster bar and a raw bar.
As for the beverage program, this tweet from former L'Olivier sommelier James Watkins would seem to indicate he's on board. Watkins also recently left the Montrose restaurant and has been working as a server at Haven.
An Eater tipster who has seen the space says it looks pretty rough but that they're making progress quickly. Look for a Plywood Report and more details coming to this space soon.
