Last night, Reef chef Bryan Caswell received the troubling news that someone had broken into his seafood restaurant for the fifth time in the past two months. KTRK reports that a neighbor saw three people leaving the restaurant carrying liquor bottles and a TV; he called the police. According to News 92FM, an off-duty police officer who also saw the suspects called for backup, and Houston Police Department officers quickly arrested the group.
Caswell made it to the scene in time to document the arrest via the tweets displayed above. Reached for comment, he wrote "Can't say enough about our two neighbors that stood up and took charge." Police returned the stolen property to the restaurant and took the suspects to jail.
