Last month, Eater Houston published a preview of Corner Table, the new restaurant from former Ruggles chef Bruce Molzan and business partner Darla Lexington. Now that the restaurant has been open for a couple weeks, here's a look inside the finished space.
The room itself is mostly understated with simple wooden furniture, but there are several creative touches. For example, Lexington's love of chandeliers manifests itself in both the dining room and the restrooms. There's also the slanted wine rack made from reclaimed wood.
At lunch, the menu focuses on salads, sandwiches and pizza from the wood-burning oven. There are more substantial entrees at dinner, including a rack of lamb. Corner Table is open Monday through Saturday.
