BooTown's Grown-Up Storytime; Golden Fork Party

MONTROSETomorrow (October 15) is this month's Grown-up Storytime at Rudyard's, hosted by BooTown. Local artists choose the best stories submitted by their fans and have "expert story readers" perform the most striking pieces before an adventurous audience. The Greater Houston Restaurant Association announced that its inaugural Golden Fork Awards Gala will be on January 25 from 7 to 11:30 p.m. Tickets are $225 per person, or $2,000 per table.
