Halloween Critical Mass; Anchorman Ice Cream

CRITICAL MASSACRE— This Friday (October 25) is Critical Mass' Critical Massacre. Every last Friday of the month, this "casual low-speed bike ride starting from downtown at Market Square Park" takes place, and this Friday's is a special costumed ride that ends at Liberty Station. Upon arrival, cyclists are welcome to compete in a costume contest where the winner will receive a comped bar tab from Liberty Station. One of the organizers tells Eater that in 2011 "the Bob Ross costume won, but there were two of them, so we had a dance off to decide the winner." [Eaterwire]

ICE CREAM!Ben & Jerry's is known for serving up funny ice cream names and ideas, and this Anchorman-inspired pint is no exception. Eater National reports that "the flavor is fittingly called Scotchy Scotch Scotch and according to the press release is 'a creamy concoction of butterscotch ice cream with ribbons of butterscotch swirl.'" HALLOWEEN EVENTS— For an extensive list of food-centric Halloween events, check out our contributor's list. The party continues until November 1 when Moon Tower Inn hosts Moon Tower Inn's Halloween Spectacle and Brain Washing for those who "want a free black metal face painting." The winner of the costume contest gets a $50 bar tab and $100 cash. [-EHOU-]
