Montrose's upcoming world-class bakery is projected to open in January of next year. Pastry chef Roy Shvartzapel of elBulli, Cyrus and Bouchon fame is the "common bond" between the chefs who will join him at upcoming pastry shop Common Bond. Some of those include Drew Gimma, Tony Stein, Jillian Bartolome and Alec Bartee. They're currently working on recipes, menu development and packaging for the highly anticipated spot just next door to Agora and across Westheimer from Cafe Brasil.
