After a successful preview a few weeks ago, Little Dipper will open today (October 29) at 4 p.m. The highly anticipated bar from Poison Girl, Black Hole and Antidote owners, Scott Repass, Dawn Callaway, Miriam Carrillo and Scott Walcott, will join the downtown super-block that includes The Pastry War, Goro & Gun and Bad News Bar. The bar's opening was announced in a Facebook post earlier today: "OK, Dippers, we are gonna open at 4 today!! Happy hour 4 to 7 means $2.50 wells and $4 wines. AND tonight we are gonna buy the first fifty Lone Stars (one each, folks)!!"
While Poison Girl is a bourbon-forward establishment and the owners' other spots are primarily coffee shops with great beer and wine lists (written by PSA Wines co-founder Justin Vann), Little Dipper will offer customers a little bit of everything. Vann will also help to craft the list of poison at this new downtown bar.
