Walkability scores for downtown Houston might see a sudden spike soon. The Houston Chronicle's Greg Morago reports that Bad News Bar, OKRA Charity Saloon, Goro & Gun and The Pastry War are banding together for a collaborative happy hour. This will likely encourage foot traffic between the downtown bars, and help to boost the downtown revitalization that so many have been touting. The "Main & Congress Happy Hour" will be every weekday from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. with each bar offering its own individual deal, including $5 draft Negronis at Bad News Bar and $4 Sazeracs at Goro & Gun. As always, free games of pool at Pastry War.
