The Montrose brunch spot that we featured last month is finally open as of Monday, November 18 at the old Bocados spot on W. Alabama. Brick & Spoon is a Louisiana-based chain that will offer some cajun-inspired brunch options as well as classic breakfast items and a build-your-own Bloody Mary menu. Founders Bryan Jewell and Ryan Trahan are excited to bring this concept to Houston, and specifically to this small Montrose bungalow. "We feel it was the perfect size and location for us to express our love for food and rich Southern hospitality," Jewell told Eater back in October. As of Monday (November 18), the place is officially open to the public with breakfast and lunch options at different price points.
