A new burger spot is opening in Sugar Land this Saturday, November 23 and it's bringing its quinoa burgers with it. BurgerFi will be a part of the new expansion at First Colony Mall. This Florida-based chain is known for being environmentally conscious with chairs made from recycled Coke bottles, furniture from recycled wood and convenient recycling. A quick peek at the menu shows a Brisket Burger with Swiss cheese and the patented BurgerFi sauce plus the Breakfast All Day Burger with syrup-drizzled bacon, hash browns, fried egg and ketchup. For a taste now, head to The Woodlands location that opened in July. The Sugar Land grand opening celebration will feature face painters and balloon artists for children from 1 to 5 p.m. and a ribbon cutting reception from 5 to 9 p.m. In a city that's practically bursting at the seams with great burger options, a new location from a chain will likely be met with skepticism. Stop by and let us know what you think of the burgers. We're hopeful, but it's hard to imagine that they could top Sugar Land's burger hotspot Guru Burgers & Crepes.
