MEALS ON WHEELS— Zagat Houston's Amber Ambrose talks up Brazilian food truck Churrasco To Go: "The truck utilizes an actual wood-burning rodizio grill where skewered cuts of meat - many of them beef - slowly roast over the smoldering embers. It makes for a great sandwich, and something unique (ahem, not fried) in the food truck world. Try anything made with picanha; it's the most popular cut of beef in Brazil, and one of the most flavorful in general. Catch the truck at the Discovery Green Flea Market, Houston Food Park and the City Hall Farmers Market." [Zagat]
FOOD RADIO— The Houston Chronicle's Greg Morago tells readers where and when to find good turkey advice. "Next week Killen, owner of Killen's Steakhouse and the upcoming Killen's Barbecue, will talk all things turkey for listeners of KUHF Public Radio's "Houston Matters" show, 88.7 FM. ON Tuesday, Nov. 26, Killen will be on the show, which begins at noon, to field questions about cooking the star of the most important holiday meal of the year. Killen's segment should air around 12:30 p.m." [Houston Chronicle]
