60 Degrees Mastercrafted is Now Serving Lunch & Dinner

[60 Degrees Mastercrafted]

Back in August we wrote about new River Oaks restaurant 60 Degrees Mastercrafted, with certified master chef Fritz Gitschner, formerly of the Houston Country Club, at its helm. Today a representative for the restaurant says that they're open to the public, but only in a soft opening phase. They should be officially open in mid-December. The exterior still has some construction to go, but once that's all complete, locals will be welcome to join for a grand opening celebration slated for January. Guests can walk in for lunch, dinner or Sunday brunch now: On weekdays, lunch is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and dinner is from 5 to 10 p.m. Saturday dinner hours are 6 to 11 p.m. and Sunday brunch is from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The restaurant will also be open on Thanksgiving day with all of its usual lunchtime specials, including some traditional Thanksgiving dishes. Call 713-360-7757 to make a reservation for that lunch. There aren't many certified master chefs in the country, so with one of them opening a restaurant in town, you can bet this lunch will likely beat your family's candied yams.
