RIP NEWS— Eater National reports that famed Chicago chef Charlie Trotter passed away at 54. His son found him this morning at their home, and the food world has been reacting to the passing since the news was released earlier today. "Trotter was known for his two Michelin-star eponymous restaurant, which he shuttered in 2012 in order to go to graduate school. During the restaurant's 25 years, dozens of famous chefs passed through its kitchens including Grant Achatz of Alinea, Homaro Cantu of Moto, Giuseppe Tentori of Boka, and Graham Elliot of Graham Elliot."
