Is Midtown's The Good Life Definitely Closed?

The Good Life/Facebook

After opening with much fanfare in March, and with less than a year under its belt, many are saying that Midtown bar The Good Life quietly shuttered back in November. We have attempted to reach the owners on a few occasions upon noticing that the bar and restaurant was closed several nights in a row, but they are unwilling to confirm or deny the rumors. And we're not the only ones who have noticed, some Twitter users have discussed the likelihood of the closure, too.

The bar and restaurant known for its popular happy hour and its upscale pub bites, a menu created by Roost chef and owner Kevin Naderi, was opened by Saint Genevieve owners Jeff and Darren Van Delden. The place known for its group-friendly shareable portions, Mason-jar cocktails and outrageous drinks garnishes has received mixed reviews from the public but saw good-sized crowds. We'll let you know if we receive a definitive answer from them.

UPDATE: A representative for the establishment tells us that they plan to reopen next year.
