Bryan Caswell and Bill Floyd plan to 3rd Bar Eating House in George Bush Intercontinental Airport's Terminal B later this spring. It's the first restaurant the duo have launched since closing Italian restaurant Stella Sola last year. Floyd tells CultureMap, who originally reported the story, that the 142 seat restaurant will combine the duo's three concepts by serving El Real style food for breakfast, Little Big's sliders for lunch and Reef seafood entrees for dinner. Prices will be "refreshingly reasonable for airport fare."
Things are looking up for Terminal B. Last week, San Antonio chef Johnny Hernandez announced he'd be opening a restaurant there called The Fruteria-Bonanero that will serve a mixture of fresh fruit and tapas style plates.
