Saint Arnold Brewing Company marketing and events director Lennie Ambrose confirms that the brewery has hired Ryan Savoie to be the chef for its new kitchen. Savoie come to Saint Arnold from The Grove; he also served as an executive chef at Alto prior to its December shuttering.
Ambrose said that he expects the brewery to start serving lunch in mid-March after Savoie has a chance to hire and train a staff. The restaurant will prepare a different dish each day that diners will learn about via Twitter. The menu will be seasonally-driven and feature beer and beer ingredients in the preparation. Ambrose described the idea for the menu as "elevated but not fancy" and stressed that Savoie will have the freedom to construct it as he sees fit. Once Savoie gets his feet under him, we'll try to get him to sit down long enough to talk about his plans and get some pictures of the new dining room.
