It really grinds food writer Mike Riccetti's gears when restaurants mark up wine too much or recommend one bottle over another simple because it's more expensive. He cites a restaurant that charges $39 for a bottle of Monte Antico that only costs about $10 at Spec's. If only he had done all the way and named the restaurant.
