Having successfully launched the latest Divine Reserve yesterday, local brewery Saint Arnold is ready to begin serving lunch from its newly constructed kitchen. Starting tomorrow, chef Ryan Savoie will serve a two-course menu every weekday from 11:00 a.m. until 1:15 p.m. Lunch will cost $17.55; diners may add a dessert for $4.62 and tea for $0.92 (all prices plus tax). In keeping with what Savoie told Press critic Katharine Shilcutt about his plans, sometimes the menu will incorporate Saint Arnold brews, as in Thursday's root beer pork loin, but sometimes it won't.
Yes, beer tastings will also be available. The three martini lunch may be dead, but the two pint lunch is just getting started.
