With thoughts of Shanghai specialities dancing in his head, Houstonia food editor Robb Walsh follows a series of plywood signs to Shanghai Chinese Food on the Katy Freeway. Although all he finds is a standard, neighborhood American-style Chinese restaurant, Walsh concludes that "this isn't the Chinese restaurant of your dreams, but if you are flying kites in the neighborhood, you could do worse."
