Del Frisco's Grille is set to open next Saturday, March 16, in the West Ave space formerly occupied by Ava Kitchen & Whiskey Bar. Although it serves prime steaks like its big brother in the Galleria, the "Grille" part of the name denotes that the menu focuses on "upscale diner fare" such as veal meatloaf and shrimp and grits. The restaurant is opened for dinner seven days a week, lunch during the week and brunch on Sunday. [29-95]
