On Twitter this morning, soon to open ramen shop Goro & Gun announced it would be holding two nights of preview service on March 18 and 19. In a move that breaks the traditional rules for these sort of things, both dinners are open to the public. It will be the first taste of the restaurant's offerings, even before media members. Although the menu hasn't been finalized, the $85 ticket buys access to a five-course meal featuring offerings from chefs David Coffman and Matt Womack with beer pairings from 8th Wonder Brewery and cocktail pairings from bar manager Alexander Gregg.
Told that he better "bring it" for that price, co-owner Joshua Martinez responded that "It will be brought. I'm not one to skimp on the experience." Expect the tickets to sell quickly. Anyone who wants to be part of the new, new thing better act right now.
Update: Both nights are sold out.
