As part of Burger Week, we're talking about sliders. One thing to be aware of: sliders are definitely not burgers. They're too small to hold the mix of toppings that makes for a great burger. The patties are too thin for the intense beefy flavor that marks a perfect burger as something people eat over and over again. Still, there's something to be said for the simplicity of the form: meat, onions, sweet bun, MAYBE a squirt of ketchup or mustard.
