Charles Clark and Grant Cooper, who own Brasserie 19, Ibiza and Coppa Ristorante Italiano, will add a new concept, Punk's Simple Southern Food, to the Hanover property that's nearing completion in Rice Village. Punk's will debuting in the fall, following Coppa Osteria, which is a more casual sibling to Coppa Ristorante. Chronicle food editor Greg Morago talks to Cooper, who explains more about Punk's: "[It] celebrates classic southern dishes pulled from the regions from the Gulf Coast up through the Carolinas. Cooper describes it as a place where you can get an excellent Pimm's Cup, po'boy, pimento cheese or deviled eggs - Southern fare with a knowing twist."
Other restaurants that have already been announced for the space are Tex-Mex staple Cyclone Anaya's, ice cream shop Cloud 10 Creamery and coffeeshop Fellini.
