Little Woodrow's Taking Over Block 7 Space

Little Woodrow's partner Nick Menage confirms that the rumors, which reached this site via a tipster, about the former Block 7 space on Shepherd are true; the local chain of beer bars will be taking over the space next month. Those who have visited Little Woodrow's other recent projects on White Oak and in EaDo will find the concept familiar; there will be approximately 50 taps that mix craft and macro options and a large number of TVs, including a drop down projection screen, for watching sports.

In a twist, this location will have a full kitchen that will serve an updated mix of bar foods including burgers, nachos and pizzas from the old Block 7 oven. Menage assures fans of the bar's popular steak nights that there are plans to maintain that tradition, too.

Little Woodrow's joins the upcoming Katch 22, a sports and spirit concept from Luke Mandola and Kory Clemens, as part of the shuffling along Washington Avenue that's seen clubs such as Sawyer Park and Pearl Bar close and new restaurants, including Heatmapper Hollister on Washington, moving into the neighborhood.
