Former Yelapa chef L.J. Wiley recently launched a new truck called Taco Nuts that serves food similar to the dishes that earned him a Houston Press award for Best Mexican back in 2010. Press critic Katharine Shilcutt sums up the menu as follows; "Wiley has learned from the time spent at the modern Mexican restaurant and has streamlined the dishes, fine-tuned his ingredients and ensured along the way that Taco Nuts can offer what Yelapa didn't: food that wows any audience."
