Houston's sixth location of beer/sports bar Little Woodrow's opened to the public this weekend in the former Block 7 space on Shepherd. The building has been opened up and early comments indiciate it is substantially larger than some of the company's other locations. An Eater tipster who visited the space this weekend confirms that it's a well-executed version of the chain's familiar formula: a full bar, cold beer, lots of TVs and attractive women to serve it.
In a slight twist, this location serves food under the direction of head chef/kitchen manager Tim Rowley; it's mostly burgers and fried stuff, but that fits with Little Woodrow's identity. Follow the restaurant on Facebook for specials such as vodka discounts on Thursday for female customers and daily happy hour prices.
