Cafe Adobe announced today that its location on Westheimer just west of Shepherd will close after Sunday's service. The property has been sold and will be redeveloped into apartments.
"After 32 successful years, it's time to move the River Oaks Café Adobe on to a new location that will further expand the Café Adobe brand," CEO Bob Borochoff said in a press release. "I wanted to give everyone who has enjoyed their time here at the River Oaks restaurant the opportunity to come back one more time for a final enchilada and margarita at this location."
No word on where the new location will be, but the company is looking to maintain a presence in the River Oaks/Montrose area. Cafe Adobe's three other locations remain open.
