Looks like Camerata, the wine bar next to Paulie's under the direction of sommelier David Keck, is on track to open in the next four weeks or so. Keck tells Eater that he spent in excess of three hours sanding the doors in the picture; they'll get a new coat of paint to help distinguish the space from its neighbor. Keck also advises that the wine list is almost complete.
Meanwhile, the wine's bar staff is coming together. Felipe Riccio, recently departed from his time as a
sous chef line cook at The Pass & Provisions and spotted in the kitchen at last night's Mangiamaccheroni pop-up, said that he will join the team to learn more about wine. Here's hoping the arancini he prepared last night find their way onto the menu as an occasional special.
