Modern ice-house D&T Drive Inn has finalized its food menu and will begin rolling it out next week. As befits its low-frills aesthetic, the bar will serve a menu of simple sandwiches, snacks, salads, and meat and cheese plates. However, as befits being the ice house companion to Down House, the menu from chef Benjy Mason (Update: and Mike McElroy, who'll head the kitchen) uses high quality ingredients that taste good. In addition to a full selection of craft beers, the drink menu includes both a frozen shandy and a frozen sangria.
D&T will preview items from the menu during its grand opening party this Saturday from 3:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. RSVP on Eventbrite.
