From right now until Friday at 5:00 p.m. or so, Eater sites across the country are celebrating Greasy Spoons Week. It's a look at the old-fashioned American diner and what's made it such an enduring institution. In the coming days, expect a guide to Houston's best greasy spoons, opinions from Houston chefs about their favorite spots, an interview with a diner server who's seen it all and much, much more.
In the meantime, feel free to sound off on your favorite Greasy Spoon and what you like to eat when you're there.
