Welcome to Eater Scenes, where an Eater photographer visits a restaurant to capture it at a certain, very specific time. Today, photographer Eric Sauseda shares these photos from Dot Coffee Shop.

In honor of Greasy Spoons Week, here's a look at the people working and eating lunch at Dot Coffee Shop yesterday. Although the Pappas family has operated three Dots over the years, this location, which opened along the Gulf Freeway in 1967, is the only one that remains. That's ok, though, because it's open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, 365 days a year. The comfort of the restaurant's seminal chicken fried steak is always available.
