Sunday Funday started on a sour note yesterday with the Facebook posting by Farrago's that they were serving their final brunch service. For over 13 years, Farrago's was a solid brunch option that was the start (and for many—the end) of their Sunday.

Although they survived many of the downtown construction and trend cycles, according to their Facebook post a doubling of the rent was simply too much to accommodate. Chuck Russell helped solidify the restaurant's reputation for hospitality over a decade ago, and although ownership and management changed over the years, that reputation stayed intact.
