Montrose Maine-ly's Soft Opening

Foodies-about-town will be thrilled to know that Maine-ly Sandwiches' second location is set to have its soft opening tomorrow from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. and official grand opening on Friday. It is located on Shepherd near Richmond, at the space that formerly housed Sugarbaby's. Buddy Charity tells Eater that they have already had so many interested customers, and they're "ready for the crazy."

Buddy and his wife, Angela Charity, will be taking full advantage of the extra square footage at their second location. Unlike the Greenspoint Maine-ly, their new location boasts enough space for a bigger kitchen with a deep fryer, so the Charitys will have increased flexibility when it comes to menu offerings. They've already added fried clam strips and French fries to the menu of highly sought-after lobster rolls and clam chowder. Blueberry spice, chocolate peanut butter and strawberry whoopie pies will be added to their current assortment of colorful sweet treats.
