It's always exciting when a talented chef conceives a space in which to showcase his or her own personal brand of food and atmosphere. Houston Chronicle's Alison Cook reports that Mark Holley from Brennan's and now-defunct Pesce has signed a lease at the space that formerly housed Sushi Raku; that's where he will open his forthcoming restaurant Holley's. That restaurant's interior is going to be made over with a more restrained design scheme and the overall space will be what Cook describes as "upscale seafood dining room and casual little oyster bar."
