Robert Kamen Wine Dinner; Pints for Pups

GREENWAY PLAZA— Screenwriter Robert Kamen will return to Tony's on September 26 for his annual dinner and speaking engagement. He's famous for writing The Karate Kid, The Fifth Element, and Taken. Kamen will be speaking about organic and biodynamic farming and "Mountain Cabernet", wine consisting of mountain-slope-grown grapes. He will be explaining the process and his preference for this method while guests enjoy a 4-course tasting menu and some of the wine Kamen produced. [Eaterwire]

WASHINGTON CORRIDOR— Tonight at Liberty Station, celebrate local businesses with live music and great food from 7 p.m. to 2 a.m. Bravado Spice will host the second Good Vibes Party. Expect the local company's kick-filled, locally-made salsas, food trucks Muiishi Makaritos and Phamily Bites, tons of goodies from local vendors and music from Thrill of Seconds, A Thousand Colors and Bruce Hansen and the RACKET.
