While Montrose hotspot Brasil has been around for over a decade, the folks there have made very recent changes, like adding a tap wall and hiring William Carlisle, formerly of Shade and Canopy, to head the kitchen and revamp the menu. Brasil now also boasts a beer manager who makes sure that taps are always pouring high-quality suds. After owner Dan Fergus decided to close Domy, this spot's neighboring bookstore, he continued with the improvements at Brasil.
The most recent change is Brasil's new happy hour menu, written and executed by chef Carlisle. The restaurant is taking full advantage of the new draft system by offering not just beer on tap, but draft wine, too. The new happy hour will be every Monday through Friday from 3 to 7 p.m. with discounted drinks and new food options. The bar bites will include catfish sliders, fried okra and a jalapeño burger. Check out the complete menu: Brasil's happy hour menu.
