Fine dining in Houston doesn't have to require a dress code and valet, as evidenced by esteemed casual Italian restaurant Vinoteca Poscól . This cozy Lower Westheimer spot, which is known for making high-end fare approachable and accessible, is about to move a little further east.
Owners Marco and Gloria Wiles, who also own Da Marco and Dolce Vita, tell Eater they'll be moving Poscól to 608 Westheimer early next year. With their current lease about to expire, the Wiles decided it was the perfect time to buy the building next to Katz's for a little more space, and one they can call their own. The increased square footage will allow them to seat more customers, and they will have a bigger bar with plenty of local brews on tap. The menu will remain the same, which is good news for anyone who's ever had their red wine risotto.
