Black Sheep Shin-Dig; Pig Dinner at BRC

DEAL WIRE— You might not know what Gaucho Day is, but you're about to like it. This Brazilian celebration commemorates the cowboys who fought in the Farroupilha Revolution, what that means for Houstonians this week: Today through September 20, Fogo de Chão guests who say "Happy Gaucho Day" to the table's server will be treated to a free dessert at this esteemed churrascaria. Fogo will also be giving away dinner for four with a private kitchen tour to a fortunate Facebook fan. [Eaterwire]

DOWNTOWN— The rebellious PR bunch behind The Black Sheep Agency are throwing a party, and ewe better be there. (Too much?) The Black Sheep Shin-Dig is this Thursday (September 19) at The Pastry War beginning at 7 p.m. Make sure to RSVP as soon as possible. And because these girls (and guy) would never throw a party without a hashtag, use #BAHrracho to share details and follow the event. [Eaterwire]

WASHINGTON CORRIDOR— Of course the restaurant that serves us chicken-fried bacon would host the most indulgent meal of the month. BRC's monthly Pig Dinner is September 18 starting at 5:30 p.m. Tickets are $34 and include a flight of beer. Check out the full menu, which includes Cuban-style roasted pig, roasted plantains and dulce de leche cheesecake. [Eaterwire]
