SnowBlock Shavery Opens Tomorrow in the Rice Village

Serving up shaved ice that looks like delicate ribbons folded on top of each other, SnowBlock Shavery promises to deliver a new way to cool off in the Rice Village. It's about as caloric as regular frozen yogurt but with a different texture. This dessert spot is celebrating its grand opening tomorrow (September 28), and if you say you read about it on Eater they'll offer a 20% discount. The grand opening is tomorrow at 2518 Rice Blvd. The event will feature balloon art and photo booth from 2 to 4 p.m.
