big%20brew.pngAt a press conference today, Mayor Annise Parker toasted to Big Brew, a massive beer festival slated to launch in Houston this fall. Even beer-averse locals who appreciate good food will want to be in on the fun, since the first day of the fest will see The Great Match, where chefs Michael Cordua, Randy Evans and Robert DelGrande will pair their beer-infused dishes with brews for a special dining experience. The entire festival will be held from Oct. 20 through Oct. 26., and tickets go on sale Feb. 17. [Eaterwire]
