Former Arcodoro Chef to Open His Own Restaurant

Get the limoncello ready because B4-U-Eat's newsletter reports that former Arcodoro Ristorante Italiano chef Giancarlo Ferrara is getting ready to debut a restaurant of his own. Amalfi Ristorante Italiano & Bar is expected to open this spring in the Galleria area, "just doors down from The Palm," according to B4-U-Eat. Ferrara is a Salerno native who has worked all over the world and has gained a steady following in Houston after years at Galleria-area Arcodoro. To get a taste of the food he will be cooking up at his new restaurant, check out France Vs. Italy, an event that pits Ferrara against French chef Jacques Fox of Artisans Restaurant.
