The owners of Rice Village's Sweet Paris—the way-too-adorable creperie—are looking to open a CityCentre location this year, sometime between April and June. They are finalizing a lease agreement now, and the project manager for the French restaurant says that no matter what, they hope to ensure a space in that development. (The exact location is still under wraps.) This will be the second Houston-area location, but the third overall. In a somewhat unconventional move, the creperie expanded internationally before locally when its second outpost opened in Mexico late last year.
Both the sweet and savory crepes are a hit in the Rice Village and will likely be popular on the west side of town, even though there are already a wealth of sweet treats in that area, including Ooh La La and SWEET, whose owners are already looking to open an East End spot.
