The cats at Fat Cat Creamery in the Heights are whipping up a Waterloo Strawberry Shake. The shake is crafted with Waterloo a gin, a spirit handcrafted in Texas and juniper syrup spun into the house-made strawberry buttermilk ice cream base. It's topped off with fresh whipped cream using whole milk from Texas dairy farmers' Mill-King and garnished with fresh macerated strawberry jam.

No need to order your bourbon on the rocks or neat, at SweetCup Gelato bourbon is served in a cup or cone. The Montrose gelato shop has whipped up a special batch of its Bourbon Caramel. Owner Jasmine Chida, who recently participated in the Gelato World Tour last spring, starts with her house-made caramel gelato, swirling pours of Maker's Mark Bourbon-Whiskey through out for a cool and boozy treat.
