Anvil, Triniti and Captain Foxheart's Bad News Bar & Spirit Lodge are likely bars that come to mind when discussing cocktails, but many overlook Beaver's. The upscale ice house is offering more than elevated Southern fare and tongue-in-cheek sandwiches. It's a place to go for cocktails that are on par with the city's more popular bars.
Prior to opening Anvil, acclaimed mixologist Bobby Heugel could be seen behind the bar creating crazy yet intoxicating cocktails. These days, it's Mike Riojas showing off his talents. Working up the ranks from server to bar manager, Riojaspassion is present with each drink made. Without any training, Riojas does what few bartenders can do and he does it well.
