Three months after Phillipe and Beline Harel celebrated the two-year anniversary of their Heights French bistro, Salé Sucré, the restaurant has closed. According to Swamplot, the restaurant had been locked out for nearly two weeks. DC Heights LP, owner of the property at 2916 White Oak Drive, posted a letter to the restaurant's door alleging of Philippe and Beline's failure to pay their rent.
The Harels confirmed the lock out but reassured customers that they, "will be opening a new location, but it will be under a new name."
The location of the new restaurant and its concept are unknown for now. Got some inside information or thoughts on the change? Leave a comment or visit the tipline.
