Cyclone Anaya’s (Finally) Opens in Rice Village

The Mexican restaurant's newest outpost is now serving.

It might've have taken longer than anticipated, but Cyclone Anaya's Mexican Kitchen opened over the weekend at 5214 Morningside in Rice Village's swanky Hanover Rice Village apartment complex.

This brings the number of Cyclone Anaya's locations to five in the Bayou City. The others are located in CityCentre, on Durham, in Midtown, and on Woodway. Named for and founded by Mexican wrestler Cyclone Anaya, the restaurants are known for being both modern and fun while adhering to the traditions of food and family.

Open Monday through Thursday from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. and Friday from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m. Saturday from 10 a.m. to 12 a.m., and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. (713) 523-3600; website.
