Hugs & Donuts and More Houston Spots Coming This Fall

UPPER KIRBY— The name of the new Clark Cooper Concepts seafood restaurant replacing Pesce will be SaltAir Seafood Kitchen. It's slated to open next summer, after event space The Dunlavy and coffee truck Mobile Mug from the same group.

HEIGHTS— Hugs & Donuts, the forthcoming doughnut shop from the guys at H-Town StrEATS, will open by November. It's being painted this week. Sister fried chicken spot The Bird House is now open nearby in the same neighborhood.

HEIGHTS— The newest outpost of fast-casual Mediterranean restaurant Zoes Kitchen will open on Thursday, October 16 October 23. Find it at 250 W. 20th Street, Suite 400.

TOMBALL— The second area Pollo Tropical will open on Friday, October 17. Expect Caribbean fare from the Florida-based chain when it starts serving for lunch and dinner. Later this year, look for another outpost at Westheimer and Voss. 21441 Tomball Parkway.
