DOWNTOWN— Reserve 101's Mike Raymond and Steve Long flew to Kentucky to hand-select barrels at Buffalo Trace, Wild Turkey (Russell's Reserve), and Jim Beam (Knob Creek) distilleries, and they've just taken delivery of their very first selection. It's a 90-proof, 9-year-old spicy bourbon aged in a 52-gallon Virgin American White Oak barrel. This comes on the heels of a brand-new happy hour at the popular whiskey bar, featuring a new range of draft beers, $5 cocktails, and deals on bottles of wine.

RIVER OAKS— Backstreet Café cocktail Backstreet Mary will be on the beverage menu this month at the St. Regis New York's King Cole Bar. The cocktail is part of a month-long celebration of the creation of the Bloody Mary— and examples of the iconic drink from around the country made the list.
