The Chicken Ranch Closes Shop for a Day

A much publicized fried chicken restaurant shuts down business temporarily.

It's been five days since Joshua Martinez and Paul Sedillo officially opened The Chicken Ranch on North Main, but today, the fried chicken restaurant is temporarily closed.

The restaurant alerted customers to the closure, informing them through social media that it would be closed for maintenance repairs:

Later the restaurant tweeted the following picture, providing a minimal visual of what was broken:

Shutting down business to make repairs isn't new for Martinez who also owns the food truck, The Modular. Taking time away to attend to repairs is part of the food truck life, but it's not a constant ritual for restaurants. The good news is the fried chicken restaurant is expected to have repairs completed by the end of today and reopen tomorrow at 11 a.m.
