MIDTOWN — Local top chefs have been participating in Thursday pop-up events at Glitter Karaoke where they serve up a special, custom menu. Tonight showcases the talents of Niki Vongthong and Stevie Nguyen, chefs at Uchi in Montrose whose menu includes crispy beef tendon bites, Thai tripe salad, red curry boudin balls and Thai pumpkin custard with sticky rice. MONTROSE — Houston Press continues its Food Truck Friday lunch series with one of Houston's newer food trucks, Lone Star Samwiches. Chow down on East Indian spiced beef sandwiches with cucumber and avocado salsa or attempt the hearty four meat sandwich called The Horseman.
